Business Chic

So recently, I attended my school career/ internship fair. Although, this fair was intended for graduates and I knew I wanted to head back to New York for the summer, I thought going would be good practice!

Of course, at these events, you never know who you are going to meet so as always I dressed the part while looking professional yet still maintaining my style. It’s so important to look good on job interviews while keeping true to yourself. This is your first impression on the company, so look your best girl!

Above, I decided to wear a white, crisp, button down shirt with my faux, black, leather leggings and black, little booties. I kept this look simple and on the conservative side but added a pop of color with my purple Kate Spade bag.

This bag is perfect for school and can easily be transitioned into a work bag. It’s also big enough to hold a folder with my resume(s) so that at any time i can whip it out and POW! Just kidding guys, but common, you can’t hold your resume in a mini cross body bag!

I really loved this look in the end because it allowed me to be my edgy self with still keeping it business chic. Shop my favorite pieces (and look alikes) below.

Miami Spring Break

Hey guys, I recently just got back from Miami and let me tell you it was the most, perfect little getaway, AND very needed. Spring break 2017 went down like this: My two friends and I stayed at the gorgeous Fountain Bleu in South Beach (I totally recommend it) but we had to check out the new-bee in town and headed over to, 1 Hotel South Beach, I was dying to see the new space! I mean, how amazing is this lobby?!?! Oh and my outfit, duh.

A Day at the Whitney Museum

Friday was sure chilly but lucky for me I was able to head into New York City and go to the Whitney Museum for the first time!  It’s located in the Meatpacking District and it’s also close to The Rolling Stones Exhibit which is so cool! I suggest going to both if you can. I went with my mom and after we saw everything we wanted to see we checked out the restaurant Bubby’s for some hearty chicken noodle soup, although my mom got a kale salad 😉 either way, it’s so delicious and we’ll definitely be back.

I call this outfit modern museum chic. When I walk around NYC I always want to be semi-comfortable so these bell bottom jeans did just the trick! I paired them with a vintage, white button down and this awesome leopard coat. How cute?

Enjoy XOXO

Ringing in the new year with style! Happy 2017 :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I am in love with this look and it is the perfect go-to outfit for any cold, winter day. I love wearing leather leggings during this time of the year but instead of sticking with black boots (like I always do), I changed up my look by wearing beige boots and paired it with a beige sweater that I found in my closet from years ago!! (fashion tip: always mix the old with the new!)

The leather leggings are faux and are from BlankNYC.  They by far have some of the best jeans and really cute jackets, so be on the look out! My boots and my sweater that have been hiding in my closet are from Nastygal and Sam Edelman. Also, Nastygal is having a huge sale so be sure to check them out and don’t miss BlankNYC sale as well.

Love my outfit and want to get all of the details? Shop below!

My Birthday is in One Week!

Ahhh! I am going to be 20…Happy early birthday to myself.  This is a throwback to my birthday last year of my Mom and I.  We always have so much fun wherever we go and I know I will always have the BEST time with her. There’s nothing like having a fashionable Mom, but not to mention a cool one who obviously has been to all the hottest places before you can even try and get a dinner reservation.  We got dressed up, got our makeup done at BG, did a little dancing and went to the Polo Lounge for dinner which was soooo yummy! We were having so much fun we almost dropped an absurd amount of money at the nicest suite at the St. Regis. Oh the memories… talk about “in the moment” kind of thing if ya know what I mean! hahaha shop my dress from below.

Gossip Girl Here

Yes, it is sunny and beautiful here on the west coast, but for all my friends back in New York this one is for you.  The go to, back to school, outfit makes me cringe every time I see it.  (In a good way of course)  Channeling my inner Serena Van der Woodsen, I could not feel more glammed up if I tried!

The mirror pic was obligatory, especially because my best friend and I always love to play dress up for the week.  That meant every outfit from head to toe for Monday through Friday was picked out on Sunday night.  WOW! That was a mouth full,  but it was so enjoyable and so much fun.  Nothing is more exciting then having a makeup and hair party with your BFF.  Luckily my BFF is amazing at doing makeup, so with any outfit the face plan was in session.  If ya know what I mean 😉 That meant hair, makeup, outfit AND accessories were all on point, and yes we rocked those hallways like there was no tomorrow.

You can say we were the IT girls, I mean come on who else thinks about pairing a mini dress with thigh highs in negative two degree weather? Yeah, no one.

Also guys, side note I love bubble baths, so if you’re questioning why the bathtub is in the background it’s because it wanted to be there. DUH!

Show me your go to outfit for school, I would love to see!

Sundress

Smiling because I am getting on a plane one week from today. Yay! Vacations are some of my favorite times of the year because it’s a chance where I get to catch up with my family, relax and really enjoy this beautiful thing called: HAVING FUN! Who doesn’t have fun on family vacas? Am I right? This month I am heading to the land of all fun, the place where no one ever has to grow up… can you guess where? Well, if you thought Disney World, you’re a wizard.  I will be flying into Universal, going on some extreme roller coasters where my stomach will drop 10,000 feet but then I get to see sea world and go to Disney and so on and so fourth. Can you tell I am excited?  Continue reading “Sundress”

Year Round Booties

Ever need a cute ankle boot for all seasons of the year? Looking for that one, classic style to go with just about anything? Then you’re in luck! Bloomingdales never seems to disappoint. They always provide me with exceptional services and I know I can always count on their inventory being new and improved.

As always, I love a good slit to show some skin or better yet rhinestones, studs or sequins to give the boot more of an oomph.

So, with that being said, shop away 🙂
