I’m 22!!! Where did the time go?

Hey guys! This past weekend was my birthday weekend-yes, I celebrate my birthday for more than one day. haha!

After celebrating at Lavo in NYC all night long on Saturday with my closest friends, I knew I wanted Sunday to be a relaxing, good ole, fun day at the beach! My grandma, mom and I went to Long Branch, ate some of the most delicious food at Avenue and then spent the rest of the day tanning and attempting to go into the ocean! The water was cold, can you blame us? It was so much fun and certainly a birthday to remember.

Of course, my outfit was super colorful 🙂

Lets Talk Mean Girls.

Everyone has interacted with one mean girl at one point in their life and I am sure there were a couple times where you thought, Gee- was that nice of me? Am I right?  If you guys know the movie “Mean Girls” then you have an idea as to what I am talking about!   Talk about shifting your perspective, WOW! The whole crew behind this show really did an outstanding job. This production went from girls ripping their friend’s hair out to sending positive messages out to one another real quick.

You guys, this wasn’t like any other Broadway show I have seen but let me just say this was certainly a SHOW for sure! Everything from the wardrobe to the way the set was designed really captured the moment of the Mean Girls Movie and not to mention the acting was incred. But enough about the synopsis lets talk outfit deets, food and more!

I decided to wear pink because we all know the plastics only wear pink on Wednesdays! Well it was Friday and my dad and I made SURE we wearing pink just for fun, ya know? See how I styled my outfit below!

My Dad and I drove in Friday night and of course had to eat a little something before it was showtime. The palm sounded good. Dirty martinis with three olives is what we ordered and that was it. KIDDING!!! You’re looking at the biggest foodie over here. Ok let’s get serious, The Palm is known for steak so of course, we had to indulge. We shared the wedge salad as an Continue reading “Pre Birthday Festivities- plastic, pink, pretty”

Lets talk spring shoes!!!

Hey fashionistas!!! Hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday! I wanted to get on here quickly and share my fave pair of espadrilles that I will be wearing all spring and summer long! I wasn’t always a fan of the espadrille trend, I mean, don’t get me wrong I love my Soludos with the little hamburger and french fries on them but I wasn’t wearing them 24/7.

I would always see some cute ones from time to time but nothing caught my attention until  I saw these babes, and I knew I had to have them!  I mean how gorgeous are these Gucci espadrilles? They are a major staple piece in any fashionista’s wardrobe and the fact that they are neutral is the cherry on top! I especially love the little details and the gold bees’ makes them extra fabulous. I’d pair these shoes with just about any outfit. They are so versatile and can be worn from day to night! Try pairing them with white jeans and a black tee for a simple, but sophisticated look and all eyes will certainly be on you!

I recommend going up half a size in these, I know sometimes in the summer people’s feet sweat (lol mine, that’s so normal right?) so that’s just my opinion but you do you girl! Not saying you need Gucci espadrilles but come on now, they won’t hurt your collection if you know what I mean!

Happy shopping you guys 🙂 If you want to see some other pairs that I am loving shop below.

It’s Tip Tuesday!!!

Hey Guys! Happy Tuesday AKA Tip Tuesday, yay! I am so excited to share the exciting news with all of you guys, I bought these new babies for less than $50 bucks! I know, right? What a steal! I had to get nude heels for an occasion and couldn’t help but notice there was almost nothing I was obsessing over. I definitely did not want to break the bank, so I was so happy when I found there was a DSWshoes near me and I drove right over to find the perfect heels!

Considering it’s the middle of January and I am not even on an island, sad I know, I had to find a heel that covered my foot but also showed a little skin and was sexy at the same time! I wore these with an all-white dress, but I can’t wait to style them with jeans, rolled up and a really cute button down top.

Not only were these the perfect style and height BUT I scored them for such a great deal. They were originally $160, then reduced down to $65 AND on top of that an additional 30% like OMG YOU GUYS!!! I ended up getting them for a total of $46 plus some change but can you imagine how amazing that deal is? I’ll just let that sink in…

Happy Tuesday, Guys <3 Make it a great one!

My favorite sweater of the season, AND Gap is making a come back!!!

Hello guys!!! Happy Happy New Year, I had to share with you my favorite sweater of the season. This bright, vibrant, colorful sweater is from the Gap and I absolutely love it. Not only is it so warm but it’s so flattering too and the colors are fabulous! Overall this was a great purchase and I snagged it on sale! Even better, I know.

I paired mine with some plain white skinny jeans, I know it’s winter but I thought this look was gorgeous and so chic. To keep me extra warm and cozy, I added my caramel, furry coat. (Actually stole this from my mom’s closet, anyone else do this? lol)

Anyway guys, always try to add some color into your outfit even if it’s your socks. I know, all black outfits are fun but it’s always good to change it up a bit and add some color every now and then! Shop my sweater here, Gap Sweater (the one I am wearing)

My cute, little, Juicy Couture Bag you did me well!

OOKKK Guys!!! So, the other night I decided it would be a good idea to fill up my gas tank, keep in mind I am a jersey girl, which means it’s illegal to pump my own gas SOOO, what do you think happened? Of course, something went wrong, AND long story short, gas spilled all over me!! I know, scary.

As a result, I panicked but more importantly realized as long as I am safe that’s all that matters. I saved my clothes, brought my jacket to the dry cleaners but as a result my little, Juicy Couture bag that I have had for ten plus years!! Yes since I was probably 10 years old, is now completely ruined. The leather is just done, it smells like gasoline and lastly, it’s just worn out. Of course, when I told my mom, she said “that bag doesn’t owe you one cent” Meaning I have gotten so much use out of it that it’s okay to let it go.

SOOO, what’s my point here Danielle? I loved this maroon bag, I took it every where with me and just thought it was absolutely perfect because of its style and what it did for me. It was fashionable but also functional. What I realized was, it’s okay to let go of things that have served their purpose and it’s good to cleanse and get rid of old stuff! So, to my adorable little Juicy bag I love you but now it’s time for bigger and better bags 😉 As it says in my bag, have a juicy day and with that, I will be looking for a new fave! <3

What are some of your fave designer bags? Let me know! I want to hear from you guys!

Business Chic

So recently, I attended my school career/ internship fair. Although, this fair was intended for graduates and I knew I wanted to head back to New York for the summer, I thought going would be good practice!

Of course, at these events, you never know who you are going to meet so as always I dressed the part while looking professional yet still maintaining my style. It’s so important to look good on job interviews while keeping true to yourself. This is your first impression on the company, so look your best girl!

Above, I decided to wear a white, crisp, button down shirt with my faux, black, leather leggings and black, little booties. I kept this look simple and on the conservative side but added a pop of color with my purple Kate Spade bag.

This bag is perfect for school and can easily be transitioned into a work bag. It’s also big enough to hold a folder with my resume(s) so that at any time i can whip it out and POW! Just kidding guys, but common, you can’t hold your resume in a mini cross body bag!

I really loved this look in the end because it allowed me to be my edgy self with still keeping it business chic. Shop my favorite pieces (and look alikes) below.

Miami Spring Break

Hey guys, I recently just got back from Miami and let me tell you it was the most, perfect little getaway, AND very needed. Spring break 2017 went down like this: My two friends and I stayed at the gorgeous Fountain Bleu in South Beach (I totally recommend it) but we had to check out the new-bee in town and headed over to, 1 Hotel South Beach, I was dying to see the new space! I mean, how amazing is this lobby?!?! Oh and my outfit, duh.

Ringing in the new year with style! Happy 2017 :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I am in love with this look and it is the perfect go-to outfit for any cold, winter day. I love wearing leather leggings during this time of the year but instead of sticking with black boots (like I always do), I changed up my look by wearing beige boots and paired it with a beige sweater that I found in my closet from years ago!! (fashion tip: always mix the old with the new!)

The leather leggings are faux and are from BlankNYC.  They by far have some of the best jeans and really cute jackets, so be on the look out! My boots and my sweater that have been hiding in my closet are from Nastygal and Sam Edelman. Also, Nastygal is having a huge sale so be sure to check them out and don’t miss BlankNYC sale as well.

Love my outfit and want to get all of the details? Shop below!

Crazy for COCONUTS

Hi guys! I hope everyone is enjoying their winter break.  I know I am since I am sitting on the beach with a coconut in my hand. Talk about fresh hehe It’s such a good feeling to finally have a break from reality and just relax! SO, that’s what I tried to do but like, hey, I needed that cute pic too!

Also, let me know if you guys like my bathing suit! I went a little crazy and thought why can’t pearls and high waisted bottoms come back into style? The best part of it all is that I went shopping in my mom’s closet LOL. Thanks mom.

P.S. I decided to not blow out my hair for one week (I know I must be crazy) but I totally was digging my curls and letting my hair go au naturrrraaaallll!!!  🙂
