Going Through Recruitment

Happy Wednesday guys, AKA hump day! I woke up to it snowing and couldn’t believe it! This past week has been crazy busy with school starting and getting back into the swing of things but more importantly, I had recruitment all weekend long! Last night was bid night, and for my girls who are familiar with this then you know the whole deal otherwise for my girls who don’t know, I will be doing a whole post on that topic later. For now, I wanted to share different ways with you guys in how I accessorize my outfits for recruitment.

Each day of recruitment depending on the theme or color scheme has different criteria sooo that being said it’s really important to put your own spin on things!

The first day was very simple, white t-shirt, jeans and, white sneaks but OF Course I couldn’t just wear any jeans and any plain white sneakers so, I wore these sevens here 7forallmankind that flared out on the bottom with my new white platform sneakers  Kendall and Kylie that I bought at Bloomies for a ridiculous good price. I accessorized with gold jewelry and made sure I wore my fave hoop earrings with my Hermes bracelet as well.

Also guys, always remember if you have to wear plain t-shirts, with solid jeans, make sure you accessorize with belts, and fun jewelry, this way you make your outfit your own and you stand out 🙂 As always, Have a great Wednesday!

It’s Tip Tuesday!!!

Hey Guys! Happy Tuesday AKA Tip Tuesday, yay! I am so excited to share the exciting news with all of you guys, I bought these new babies for less than $50 bucks! I know, right? What a steal! I had to get nude heels for an occasion and couldn’t help but notice there was almost nothing I was obsessing over. I definitely did not want to break the bank, so I was so happy when I found there was a DSWshoes near me and I drove right over to find the perfect heels!

Considering it’s the middle of January and I am not even on an island, sad I know, I had to find a heel that covered my foot but also showed a little skin and was sexy at the same time! I wore these with an all-white dress, but I can’t wait to style them with jeans, rolled up and a really cute button down top.

Not only were these the perfect style and height BUT I scored them for such a great deal. They were originally $160, then reduced down to $65 AND on top of that an additional 30% like OMG YOU GUYS!!! I ended up getting them for a total of $46 plus some change but can you imagine how amazing that deal is? I’ll just let that sink in…

Happy Tuesday, Guys <3 Make it a great one!

My favorite sweater of the season, AND Gap is making a come back!!!

Hello guys!!! Happy Happy New Year, I had to share with you my favorite sweater of the season. This bright, vibrant, colorful sweater is from the Gap and I absolutely love it. Not only is it so warm but it’s so flattering too and the colors are fabulous! Overall this was a great purchase and I snagged it on sale! Even better, I know.

I paired mine with some plain white skinny jeans, I know it’s winter but I thought this look was gorgeous and so chic. To keep me extra warm and cozy, I added my caramel, furry coat. (Actually stole this from my mom’s closet, anyone else do this? lol)

Anyway guys, always try to add some color into your outfit even if it’s your socks. I know, all black outfits are fun but it’s always good to change it up a bit and add some color every now and then! Shop my sweater here, Gap Sweater (the one I am wearing)

My cute, little, Juicy Couture Bag you did me well!

OOKKK Guys!!! So, the other night I decided it would be a good idea to fill up my gas tank, keep in mind I am a jersey girl, which means it’s illegal to pump my own gas SOOO, what do you think happened? Of course, something went wrong, AND long story short, gas spilled all over me!! I know, scary.

As a result, I panicked but more importantly realized as long as I am safe that’s all that matters. I saved my clothes, brought my jacket to the dry cleaners but as a result my little, Juicy Couture bag that I have had for ten plus years!! Yes since I was probably 10 years old, is now completely ruined. The leather is just done, it smells like gasoline and lastly, it’s just worn out. Of course, when I told my mom, she said “that bag doesn’t owe you one cent” Meaning I have gotten so much use out of it that it’s okay to let it go.

SOOO, what’s my point here Danielle? I loved this maroon bag, I took it every where with me and just thought it was absolutely perfect because of its style and what it did for me. It was fashionable but also functional. What I realized was, it’s okay to let go of things that have served their purpose and it’s good to cleanse and get rid of old stuff! So, to my adorable little Juicy bag I love you but now it’s time for bigger and better bags 😉 As it says in my bag, have a juicy day and with that, I will be looking for a new fave! <3

What are some of your fave designer bags? Let me know! I want to hear from you guys!

It’s all in the details…

Omg!! This weather is soo amazing I couldn’t help but bring out this amazing, jean jacket. It’s oversized and it is the perfect wash for spring and summer. I love pairing jean jackets over any simple outfit and I feel as if it just adds that extra twist. Mine is from J.Crew 🙂

I obviously had to take a selfie that was up close and personal and show you guys all the special details. I love this metal hardware too! What’s your favorite jean jacket? Comment Below!!

Business Chic

So recently, I attended my school career/ internship fair. Although, this fair was intended for graduates and I knew I wanted to head back to New York for the summer, I thought going would be good practice!

Of course, at these events, you never know who you are going to meet so as always I dressed the part while looking professional yet still maintaining my style. It’s so important to look good on job interviews while keeping true to yourself. This is your first impression on the company, so look your best girl!

Above, I decided to wear a white, crisp, button down shirt with my faux, black, leather leggings and black, little booties. I kept this look simple and on the conservative side but added a pop of color with my purple Kate Spade bag.

This bag is perfect for school and can easily be transitioned into a work bag. It’s also big enough to hold a folder with my resume(s) so that at any time i can whip it out and POW! Just kidding guys, but common, you can’t hold your resume in a mini cross body bag!

I really loved this look in the end because it allowed me to be my edgy self with still keeping it business chic. Shop my favorite pieces (and look alikes) below.

Miami Spring Break

Hey guys, I recently just got back from Miami and let me tell you it was the most, perfect little getaway, AND very needed. Spring break 2017 went down like this: My two friends and I stayed at the gorgeous Fountain Bleu in South Beach (I totally recommend it) but we had to check out the new-bee in town and headed over to, 1 Hotel South Beach, I was dying to see the new space! I mean, how amazing is this lobby?!?! Oh and my outfit, duh.

Major Deal

Bloomies galore. That is all.

HI GUYS! What do we think of my new jacket? Pretty amazing right? I was so excited when I found this, it is so perfect for the winter and it’s SO cute. (surprisingly keeps me warm too!)

Ever feel like you have the best tops in the world but you don’t have any little bomber jackets? This was me until I found this hottie! Talk about a deal, I just went to bloomies and legit almost everything is on sale. It was originally $185 and ya girl over here paid $38. I know!!!! #proud

Check out how I styled it. For my first look I decided to get a little more dressed up so I paired it with skinny jeans and a black sweater and for a more casual look I went with these amazing, black stretchy pants that feel like leggings but are a little more flattering! This is the perfect look for any brunch or city day event with your besties <3

XOXO

P.S. (as i laugh to myself) I was trying to put on my sunnies without ruining my nails lol let me know if this is a struggle for you guys to0!!
